We currently have a vacancy for a full time Research Assistant to join the Oncogenetics Team, led by Prof Rosalind Eeles at The Institute of Cancer Research, Sutton. The aim of the role will be the provide support to the Oncogenetics research team to ensure the smooth running of studies in their research portfolio.
Applicants should have an excellent attention to detail and proficient IT skills, including MS office applications, for accurate data entry, sample coordination and administrative tasks. Good communication skills are essential by email and telephone. They should also be willing to further their IT knowledge learning to use various in house databases. Experience/knowledge from working in a medical/research or laboratory environment is desirable. The ability to work to high standards across a variety of tasks with constant regard to scientific and regulatory requirements is vital.

Appointment will be on a fixed term contract for 1 year, with a starting salary of £20,090 p.a. Starting salary will be based on relevance of experience and skills.
