The role is unpaid; however, all reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the role will be reimbursed.

Today, we lead the world at isolating cancer-related genes and discovering new targeted drugs for personalised cancer treatment. We are seeking two new Pension Scheme Trustees with investment or general management experience to join the ICR Pension Scheme Trustee Board in autumn 2019.

We have a strong and committed group of Trustees, including lay members, member-nominated Trustees and ICR officers, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise. Two vacancies have now arisen as a result of the retirement of two members at the end of their terms.

The ICRPS Trustees are responsible for the operation and the governance of the ICR Pension Scheme, including making decisions regarding the Scheme’s funding and investment strategy in conjunction with the ICR. The role will require attendance at meetings twice a year, as well as additional meetings and consideration of business by email as required.
