The Institute of Cancer Research is looking for a capable and experienced Trial Administrator to join its Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit (ICR-CTSU) at its Sutton site. ICR-CTSU runs a portfolio of national and international phase II/III multicentre randomised controlled trials with a special emphasis on breast, urology and head and neck cancer treatments.
This post is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-motivated person to work in a dynamic and supportive academic environment at one of the leading National Cancer Research Institute recognised cancer clinical trials unit. The successful applicant will provide administrative support to a number of multi-centre trials of cancer treatments. There will be a broad range of duties including:
• maintaining efficient filing systems and records
• logging patient data on an in house database
• general administrative duties including the organisation of meetings.
You should have proven administrative and database experience. In addition you will need excellent IT, inter-personal and communication skills and experience of organising a varied workload. Office or computer skills/qualifications would be an advantage.
This full-time appointment (35 hours per week) is for 12 months in the first instance. Part time working options will be considered.
